"You already see what's wrong with a room in the first thirty seconds. We built a way for that to pay."
— The idea behind Vibe Check
What you'll cover
A structured review, not a blank page.
Every Vibe Check follows the same format. You work through six areas that matter most, then deliver a ranked priority list so the client knows exactly what to do next.

Scale + proportion
Whether furniture is correctly sized for the room and the other pieces around it.

Layout + flow
How well the arrangement supports movement, function, and visual balance.

Lighting
Whether the lighting plan works for the room's use, and what's missing.

Color + material
Palette cohesion, material mix, and whether the overall direction holds together.

Styling + finishing
What's making the space feel unfinished or off, and how to fix it.

Priority action list
A ranked list of changes so the client knows what to do first.
Who it's for
Sharp eye.
Clear voice.
Vibe Check reviewers are professional designers and home pros who can read a room quickly, communicate clearly, and give feedback that's specific enough to act on.
01
You have real design experience
Whether you're an interior designer, architect, stager, or decorator — you've worked on real spaces for real clients.
02
You can explain the why
It's not enough to say 'this doesn't work.' You can identify what's causing the problem and what to do about it.
03
You write clearly
Your feedback will be read by a homeowner, not a design school critique panel. Clear, direct, jargon-light language is a plus.
04
You want flexible paid work
You're not looking to manage another client relationship. You want project-based income that fits around your existing schedule.
What you get
Per-room pay
Earn a portion of the $119 client fee for each completed review. Exact rate shared at onboarding.
No client management
One submission, one review, done. No follow-up calls, revisions, or ongoing email threads.
Work around your schedule
Pick up projects when you have availability. There's no minimum volume and you can pause any time.
Structured format
A consistent framework means you're not starting from scratch on every review — just applying your eye to the same six areas.
Not the right fit if
- –You prefer building client relationships over project-based work
- –You're early in your design career and still developing your critical eye
- –You need high volume or consistent hours to be worth your time
